We’re sure that you will love everything you order. However, if you change your mind, you are more than welcome to return your item(s) in accordance with our below returns and exchange policy.
All orders come with a generous 90 day return window, meaning if for any reason you no longer wish to keep your item(s) you can simply return it to The Backpacker for a full refund. Please note, we must receive the goods within the 90 day window for the return to be accepted, so please take into account any delivery times.
Any items being returned to The Backpacker must be returned in the same condition as first delivered. All goods must be unused and in their original packaging with any tags and / or labels still attached.
To request a return or exchange, please contact us with the following information to start the process; your order number, full name, item(s) being returned and the reason for your return.
Upon receipt of your email, we will reply to confirm your Returns Authorisation Number and provide further details on how and where to send the item(s) back to. Please do not send any items back to us before receiving this information.
You will be responsible for covering the delivery costs to return the item (unless the item is faulty) and we recommend using a trackable service for your own protection. You are responsible for your item(s) until we receive your goods back to our warehouse.
Once we have received your item(s), we will aim to process your refund within 48 hours. We will email to confirm a refund has been processed back to your original payment method.
Faulty or Damaged Items
In the rare event your item is faulty, then the above returns procedure will still need to be followed. When emailing in to request a return or exchange, please also enclose photos of the faulty item and clearly detail any problems / concerns.
Upon receipt of your item, we will assess any damages and if appropriate offer you the choice of a full refund (including return delivery costs) or an exchange to the original value of the item purchased.
All items come with a warranty, with the length of time and faults covered differing for each brand. If your item develops any faults after use, then please email us and we will liaise with the relevant brand to try and arrange any repairs or exchanges – where appropriate.
